5.6/10
We were quite disappointed with our recent stay. While the location is nice and the apartments are spacious, the cleanliness and maintenance standards were severely lacking. Customer service could also use a serious upgrade. It's not what we expected for a supposedly luxurious resort experience, especially at this price point.
Rooms
5.0
The room we were assigned was extremely spacious, which was a plus, but unfortunately, it was dirty upon check-in. We found items left from previous guests, and the floors were not cleaned properly throughout our stay.
Service
5.0
I encountered issues with service from the start, notably when the front desk was unresponsive to my concerns about the cleanliness of our unit. It felt like they didn't prioritize our complaints appropriately.
Location
6.0
The resort is situated in a quiet area, which helps to keep the noise level down, but it is quite a distance from any major attractions. If you're looking to explore, having a car is essential.
Dining
5.0
We didn't try dining here, but the options seemed limited and overpriced given the overall experience elsewhere.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent enough, featuring a good gym and rooftop spa. However, they felt neglected, with some areas lacking cleanliness.

6.2/10
During my stay at the Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa, I found the pool to be the highlight, featuring plenty of shallow areas perfect for families. However, the overall experience felt underwhelming for the price, especially regarding the dining options and cleanliness around the common areas. While the spacious rooms were nice, I expected more from a five-star resort.
Rooms
6.0
The two-bedroom penthouse apartment was quite spacious and included a rooftop terrace with a whirlpool, which was lovely. However, the cleanliness and general upkeep left much to be desired, as I found it a bit worn down.
Service
6.0
The service felt lacking in certain areas, as I expected a more welcoming arrival experience and better attention during meals. I did appreciate the friendly interaction from some staff, but overall, it seemed understaffed.
Location
7.0
The resort is a bit isolated, about a 10-minute drive from the main township, which may not be convenient for those looking to explore eateries or nightlife regularly. The surrounding area was quiet and lovely for relaxation, though.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining experience disappointing; while the breakfast buffet offered a range of items, the quality seemed lacking, and I felt it would be better to dine elsewhere in town for a more satisfying meal.
Facilities
7.0
The pool was stunning and well-maintained, which I truly enjoyed. However, the general cleanliness around the resort, especially in common areas, needs improvement.

7.0/10
My stay at the resort was mainly enjoyable, with a few notable highlights and some areas needing improvement. The warm and welcoming staff truly contributed positively to my experience. The rooms were spacious and clean, but some facilities felt outdated. The pool area was fantastic and peaceful, providing a much-needed retreat. Overall, it was a great stay, but the resort needs to elevate some aspects to fully meet the five-star standard they advertise.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything I needed, including a private sun lounge area with pool access, which is a very cool feature. However, the facilities seemed like they could use a refresh since I noticed some issues like cracks in the sinks and dirty blinds.
Service
9.0
The staff were absolutely wonderful, always friendly and eager to help. They made my experience much better, showing genuine care and providing useful local tips. However, there were moments when service felt a bit overwhelmed due to being understaffed.
Location
8.0
The resort is located just outside Port Douglas, making it a perfect spot for a quiet holiday while still being close enough to enjoy the town's amenities. The atmosphere was very relaxing, especially when lounging by the pool or sipping drinks.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was somewhat underwhelming; the breakfast buffet lacked variety and uniqueness, which was a letdown considering the resort's reputation. While the food was adequate, it didn't quite meet my expectations for a five-star place.
Facilities
6.0
The pool was amazing and quite inviting, however, the overall appearance of the pool area and other amenities felt tired and needed some attention. There were also issues like broken tiles that detracted from the experience.

I recently returned from a 5-night stay at Sea Temple, and while we had high hopes after our previous visit, this time left us feeling disappointed. The hotel has a beautiful setting, but the condition of our room and the service didn't match the 5-star rating. The resort does have potential but needs significant improvements to meet expectations.
Rooms
5.0
Our room was not in the best condition, with dirty surfaces and worn furnishings making for a less than enjoyable stay.
Service
5.0
The service at the pool bar was lacking, with food quality being quite disappointing. Room service left trays lying around for extended periods.
Location
9.0
The location of the resort is great, right next to a beautiful beach and close to various restaurants.
Dining
5.0
Dining at the pool bar was a letdown, with service issues and food quality not meeting our expectations.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities had a lovely setting, but needed maintenance as some areas were unkept and outdoor furniture was mismatched.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort, enjoying the spacious beachside apartment with its own plunge pool. The main pool was delightful too, but some aspects of the dining experience could use improvement; breakfast options, in particular, fell short. The staff were exceptionally nice and eager to assist. While the location offered tranquility, it required a car for easy access to town for dinner or drinks. Overall, it's a great place to relax, just keep your expectations in check regarding dining.
Rooms

The beachside apartment was spacious and clean, featuring a private plunge pool which was a big plus.

Location
